Checking Back on the Blogs

2 months have passed already....

how Is everyone? I have been thinking about composing music by myself, but now I'm just really wasting my time to just play maplestory or combat arms. (Which really isn't worth my time in life.)

So I'm trying to push my Gaming addict out of the way to improve and be better and work on my stuff and SAT and many school work. Then I'll be able to try and working 15times harder on the projects and eventually I'll move and wait till senior year in High School.

Gosh its been ages since I've been on the blog and might I add that I'm all for Brian's soon to be recreation of the Musicshake blog site thing and the reason for my MIA from the blog is that I've been busy studying and doing homework for school and the fact that I forgot my password for blogspot but the first thing doesnt mean that I havent been active on musicshake or anything it just means that I've been doing my best to get to all the things that I've been needing to do anyways I'm going to be alot more active on the blog now that I've fixed the problem with my login and everything.

Now, I admit, Christmas and my Birthday kinda got me off the chart for a bit... (Playstation 3 does that,) but now I'm back!

...Don't get me wrong, I'll keep playing the PS3, but I can't rest until this place is functioning beautifully. Now, there are -three- issues I see:

1. Design. This design is...decent, but I'm currently looking into giving us a HUGE sleak makeover.

2. Coding and the website. As it all stands, this site is our best bet for free blogging between the powershakers, but the coding behind it is going to be difficult. I found a website that may help, wix, but they do not have a logging feature, sign up feature, or blogging feature.

3. As you might not know, Imeem is...dead. It was recently (Or rather, a few weeks ago,) bought by Myspace Music. Again, I'm currently looking into making a musicplayer as well, and the design prospect is easy... But I'm no awesome shake at coding.

I'll give you guys more information later as I get better, but I'm going to aim to really turn this place around!

It took us literally 3 months and I, The original creator for this blog, Thank the Musicshakers and The staffs :D

And most of all Brian!(YumaKirosaki), He did all of the makeup and tweaks for this blog, idk how this blog would be without him!

Okay, as you can see we have a new layout...before you give criticism:

I have the original HTML saved, so we can just replace the things we want if you do not like this layout or etc.

If you do not like color scheme, looks, etc. I have the PS file saved so I can edit it at any time. (Any element on this page)

I am working on getting links back up in the form of custom buttons, INCLUDING a shout box and the lot.

Weber or anyone else; If you have insight or have ways to help, tell me!
Also, for music, I was thinking we could do a new playlist, but have it have the Powershakers Musicshake music...Or, we could just keep what we had before. COMMENT GUYS, I want everyones opinion!

Okay, so I admit I haven't been able to pay much attention to this blog...but, really I know why.
It's a tiny bit inconsistent layoutwise. The background is from a free source, there is no real banner, there is absolutely no clear layout, and the autoplaying music needs a bit more arrangement. Everythings a tiny bit cluttered!

So, I'm proposing something here: Do we want to start working on getting a more consistent looking layout? I can easily create a similar background to this one, given the dimensions, and if we work on this, we can make this blog look officially affiliated with Musicshake.com.

This is just a suggestion in response to Weber's post. If you guys agree or disagree, comment on this!

My day at school just got worse and worse because as a freshmen, I learn to get into FMHS, but still I'm getting beaten up by homework, and the computers at home are sometimes locked up by my dad. HOMEWORK piles up like crazy and long to finish. Waiting to see what happens next is what I need to see and approach.

It's Ryan106 here, one of the smaller peeps in the Power Shakers. I know I haven't really been active lately, well now schools out I can focus more as my life is boring. So when I'm not making videogames or playing the Rockstar Game I'll be on here.

As you can see clearly above (unless the others moved or deleted it) I'm going to do a small part of the blog as there's pretty much nothing else to do. I'll take a music quote (mainly from the Guitar Hero loading screens) and post it on there (hopefully) every week.

I'll do as much as I can, or I'll let my sister torture me (which is scary, trust me).

Wondering Why They Haven't

For those of you who don't know I am NYwarpath one of the earliest musicshakers and currently one of the Power Shakers. In the time I have made songs I wondered why they haven't updated some things on MS.
1.Why don't they allow the old top 50 chart back
2. (for me at least) I only can save 12 songs at one time they used to let you save it on your pc but they took that out
3. Have anymore major contests its been a while.

This isnt a rant merely pointing out what I have noticed between the 44 songs I have posted within about 2 years. Just seems like they are trying too hard to update the face and not the internal mechanics or what brought people to MS, to put songs out and have it heard by people around the world. Peace.

Well if we're going to be making two blogs, then of course the idea would be to make each blog maintained for One specific situation...I'm not quite sure on any ideas of what they should each be for, but if I would to take a random guess, I would say one is for the PS's, and the other the MS community. But yet again, where is the fun in such restrictions...If we could come up with a better idea of the usage for both blogs, then I think having two blogs would be awesome!...Otherwise, I think one blog is more than enough.

Since it's going to be the 4th of July, I think the background is right...But if it was a little transparent so we could notice the fireworks more it would be cool, but anyways, thats not really neccessary.
